ShootTheBaby.com Officially Launches!

I am pleased to announce the launch of ShootTheBaby.com! Since we had our first child in 2005, I’ve been enamored with photography and in particular, using my children as test subjects.

Since those days a few years ago, I’ve gone on to start a photography business and I’ve learned so much in the process. Now I’d like to share that knowledge with you!

The purpose of site is show you tips and techniques for getting the most out of your photography, with a special focus on shooting your kids and family. We’ve brainstormed about 40 video topics, and the plan is to have a new video online every week, with additional articles, tips and reviews added as well throughout the week. The content will center around point and shoot cameras, but sometimes I’ll delve into creating great images with a DSLR, as they are becoming more affordable every day.

Of course, any site like this benefits hugely when the community is involved, so we plan to open a forums section soon where users can share their creations!

When you get a chance, head over to our sister site Box Office Baby. Here, we’ve created a unique set of custom birth announcement movie posters!
