Episode 15: Stuff Blowing Up
July 2, 2008
You’ve waited for this day a full year. The opportunity to blow crap up, and take pictures of it at the same time.
Make the album artist for Def Leopard’s Pyromania album proud!
Show Notes:
- Set your ISO to 100. The fireworks are so bright that you don’t need a higher setting.
- Set your camera to shutter priority (Tv). Experiment with different shutter speeds in the range of 1/60th of a second all the way to 3 seconds.
- For anything longer than 1/30th, you’ll probably need a tripod. If you go tripod shopping, look for one that has a detachable plate so that you don’t have to screw the camera in every time.
